Emergency Medicine opportunity
The private group of Rutherford Emergency Medicine (REM) seeks a physician to join their active practice in July 2010. REM is composed of 5 doctors and 6 allied health providers (AHP). This need is the result of a physician who will retire in 2010. The doctors work 12-hour shifts from 7-7. Volume in the emergency room is 28,000 annually. REM also provides the coverage in the Occ Med/Urgent Care and the volume there is an additional 12,000 but patients are seen by the AHPs. Coverage in the ER is single coverage by the physician and the AHP in the ED works 11A-2A. The AHP will see 20-30 patients. The ER has 18-beds. Hospitalists handle the admissions. REM will offer a competitive salary, health and malpractice insurance and a partnership track. The need currently exists for a Pediatrician to join Rutherford Pediatrics. Call will be 1:5. This is an opportunity for a Pediatrician to offer traditional pediatric service.
